Students must have their TELL permit to begin logging their supervised driving hours. The *log book will be handed out during the parent meeting and please be aware that the DMV may now ask to see the log book.
During this phase, lasting one year, the new driver may drive by themselves. However, there are some restrictions that do apply. See the conditions to the left.
After successfully completing steps 1 and 2 the new driver becomes a full privileged driver.
*Please take a few minutes to review the parent log book and other information within. There is some great advice about the supervised driving, family rules, and consequences for violations.
